An industry-operated environment created to enhance cyber security awareness and coordination across the global automotive industry

  • Automotive connectivity

Automobiles are benefiting from a wave of technology innovation, producing vehicles that are safer, cleaner and smarter – thanks in large part to automotive and information systems that provide more connectivity.

  • Security at every stage

Automakers are committed to strong cyber-security protections in these systems, and are taking many actions, including implementing security features in every stage of the design and manufacturing process, partnering with public and private research groups to share solutions and participating in multiple cyber forums on emerging issues.

To promote collaborative cyber security efforts, the auto industry created the Automotive Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Auto-ISAC) in July 2015.

Auto-ISAC has global representation from members headquartered across North America, Europe, and Asia. As a member of the National Council of ISACs, Auto-ISAC also coordinates with 24 critical infrastructure ISACs covering areas like healthcare and aviation, telecommunications and financial services.

Have Something to Share?

Although Auto-ISAC is not a coordinated disclosure or bounty-based organization, anyone can submit information to Auto-ISAC. Automotive cyber security researchers, academia and enthusiasts welcome. Tell us a little about yourself and submission topic and your discovery could end up as part of an Auto-ISAC Intelligence Report!
